Welcome to the 2022 ARCOA Convention and Memorial Service with a return to Washington D.C. For many, our overseas adventure began after training here. For most, this is a much-anticipated return to see old friends, make new ones, and continue the adventure and travel that originally attracted us to Red Cross.

Tuesday July 26th 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm REGISTRATION begins at State Plaza Hotel. Rooms are not available until 3 p.m. so take some time to visit or plan your stay, or plan to arrive on Monday. All efforts will be made to make registration packets easily accessible throughout the Convention.
Tuesday July 26th 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm NO HOST RECEPTION/ICEBREAKER State Plaza Hotel Diplomat and Ambassador Rooms – enjoy hors d’oeuvres and drinks (cash bar) in the convenience of the hotel. Refunds will be issued if you miss the event due to a changed, delayed, or cancelled flight.

Korean War Vets Memorial - Welcome to the Korean War Veterans Memorial Foundation. All attendees should use the ARCOA provided bus to ensure required seating by 9 am for the 10 am, one-hour ceremony. Buses will return to the hotel at one specified time to be announced later. Rest of the day is free to explore or relax.
Thursday, July 28th 9:00 am ARCOA BUSINESS MEETING – Red Cross Headquarters – 430 17th Street NW in the Tiffany Circle Hall – 2nd floor. Attendance number requested for refreshments and seating.
Thursday, July 28th 2:00 pm RED CROSS BUILDING TOURS given by ARCOA Secretary/Archivist Jackie Walters and Red Cross docents. Includes the new display of Red Cross service in Korea.
Friday, July 29th 10:00 am ARCOA MEMORIAL SERVICE Tiffany Circle Hall, Red Cross Headquarters. Traditionally held in the Fall, we will honor those Red Crossers whom we have lost since October 2019. Take some time to visit the renovated Red Cross garden area.
Friday July 29th – 12:00 pm (following the Memorial Service) CONVENTION FAREWELL LUNCHEON Tiffany Circle Hall will serve as the venue for our Farewell Luncheon. A catered buffet along with presentation of awards: Condict Award, Presidential Award, RAFFLE PRIZESA RAFFLE OF SPECIAL ITEMS WILL BE CONDUCTED THROUGHOUT THE CONVENTION WITH PRIZES DRAWN AT THE LUNCHEON. THERE WILL NO SILENT AUCTION THIS YEAR.
