Hotel Information

What are the room rates?  $159 per night single/double; $179 per night triple; $199 per night quad.  All rates are subject to local taxes.  “Triple” & “Quad” mean 3 or 4 persons in a room; they do not mean the number of beds.  Rooms in our block have 2 beds.

What dates do the rates include?  May 29 – June 1, departing June 2.  The convention rate also applies three days prior and three days post-convention based on availability.

What is the deadline for making hotel reservations?  April 29, 2019.  Any reservations made after that date are subject to hotel availability and may not receive the ARCOA rate.

What code do we use to access the group rate? 

SPECIAL NEEDS NOTE:  People needing triples or quads or special accommodations should book early.  Currently, there are three (3) accessible rooms included in ARCOA’s room block. All reservations are subject to hotel availability.  Please note the hotel’s cancellation and change policies; individuals are responsible for any fees imposed by the hotel regarding cancellations.

What amenities does the hotel offer?  Completely non-smoking hotel; 24-hour fitness center; traditional afternoon tea service; multiple restaurant and beverage outlets within the hotel; chiller refrigerators and coffee makers in all guestrooms; proximity to public transportation, including Pittsburgh’s light rail system (the “T”), shopping, restaurants, parks, and cultural facilities.

BENEFITS NOTE:  Attendees are encouraged to sign up for Omni’s Select Guest Rewards program (  First-time Omni guests receive complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access and other benefits.


  • 1.     Breakfast is included for up to two (2) guests per room per day (a $50 value) in The Terrace Room, including the “Art of Breakfast Buffet.”
  • 2.     ARCOA attendees receive a daily $10 per room Food & Beverage credit to be used in any of the hotel-operated restaurants and bars.  (

What are the parking fees?

  • 1.     Self-parking -- Mellon Square Parking Garage across the street.  Day rates (6 a.m. – 4 p.m.) Monday – Friday:  $19.  Evening rates (4 p.m. – 5:59 a.m.) and all day Saturday, Sunday, holiday and weekend rates: $6.    There are no in/out privileges for this garage.
  • 2.     Valet parking (for overnight guests):  $36 per night and includes in/out privileges.  The hotel notes that the valet can park only standard-size vehicles.

Thursday, May 30:  Afternoon guided tour of the Nationality Rooms at the University of Pittsburgh’s Cathedral of Learning (  Morning and evening are free.  Late afternoon & evening registration. 

Friday, May 31:  Morning Business Meeting

Special Invitational Event with the Veterans’ Breakfast Club ( at the Heinz History Center (  Includes guided tour of the Center’s new Vietnam exhibit; lunch with slide show and story-telling by both military and Red Cross veterans (details forthcoming); shuttle service to/from the hotel. 

Afternoon and evening are free.

Saturday, June 1:  Morning Business Meeting -- Afternoon is free
